Marco Ibanez Featured in Rangefinder Magazine for Award-Winning Boudoir Photography
As a boudoir photographer based in Baltimore, Maryland, one of the most rewarding moments of my career was the very first time one of my photos was featured by Rangefinder Magazine after winning my first competition.

For years I admired photographers whose work appeared in publications like Rangefinder. Being recognized by one of the most respected photography magazines in the industry felt incredibly meaningful, especially because boudoir photography is such a personal genre.
People often think great boudoir photography is about posing, lingerie, lighting, or camera gear.
Those things matter.
But after photographing hundreds of sessions, I've learned that the most important part of a boudoir session is trust.
Every client arrives with a different story. Some are celebrating a milestone. Some are overcoming insecurities. Some are documenting a new chapter in life after a divorce, weight loss journey, motherhood, or personal transformation.
My responsibility as a photographer is to create an environment where people feel comfortable enough to be themselves.
That emotional connection is what creates meaningful photographs.
The image featured by Rangefinder was recognized because of its mood, emotion, and storytelling. Those same elements continue to shape my work today.
In addition to the Rangefinder feature, I was also recognized in The Body competition presented by Rangefinder and PDN, where one of my images received first place recognition.

Today I continue photographing luxury boudoir sessions in Baltimore, Maryland and working with clients throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and across the United States.
